i said they haven't won a super bowl in 6 years, that's a fact

raven fans always bring up how the steelers didn't beat the pats in the playoffs on their way to 2 super bowl titles this decade, as if that makes their titles tainted

totally ridiculous and it just shows their jealous little brother complex, and it's funny when their title was won against "the worst team to ever play in a super bowl"

those aren't my words, those are the words of the giants owner wellington mara :)

Now that Rapelisberger is back, the Steelers are the solid #2 team in the AFC.

2 super bowls in the last 5 years and you're putting "futility" and "steelers" in the same sentence ::)

are you really this dumb and delusional?  you just proved my point dummy

does a team have to beat the patriots for their super bowl to be valid or is it just another desperate atempt to knock the great steelers off their pedestal?  pats haven't won a super bowl in 6 years so how much longer will they be put on a pedestal?

and those years the pats won your ravens were a bottom feeder, seriously where do you and your dumb players get the nerve

the video game comment hurt, coming from a guy that plays video games too ::)

E

I meant futility against one team, you idiot.

You never beat them and never had to go through them on both title runs. Patriots have 3 titles this decade, Steelers 2 titles. They are the dominant team this decade, not the Steelers. Not delusional about anything, just stating the facts.

Patriots title years:

2001--Ravens were 10-6, defending superbowl champs and made it to the divisional round against your steelers.
2003-10-6 AFC North champs
2004--9-7--winning record--no playoffs

How were the Ravens bottom feeders during those seasons? Talking out your ass once again, Earl.

And I only play Madden and NHL. So that makes me less nerdy than you.

Any you were lucky to beat a team in the superbowl that finished 9-7. Not only that but you probably thought Arizona didn't deserve to be there, considering the division they play in.

Can give two shits what Mara said about that Giants team. Our title was won and it's in the history books. Do you think Mara would have said the same thing if the Giants won?? Don't think so, it's called sour grapes. You take everything so literally when someone makes a quote.

when you win 2 super bowls in 5 years, futiltiy against one team means shit and you know it, 2 super bowl wins since the pats last win so how much longer will you raven fans bring that up?

no playoffs in 04, may as well be a bottom feeder, heck that's what you raven fans call the steelers after one 9-7 season missing the playoffs last year ::)

ok fine you are less of a video game nerd than me, happy now?

well mara did say that he was hoping to be the "worst team" to win the super bowl haha

look dude if you are going to think less of a steeler super bowl season all because they didn't beat one particular team, you can't cry about me nitpicking your teams super bowl

and in 05 the steelers blew out the broncos a week after they blew out the pats in the playoffs, but no it has to be the patriots ::)

Earl , the Ravens have been a solid club over the last decade. Bottom feeders might have been a tad harsh.

To your point, The Patriots are ther team of the decade (winning 3 titles, going undefeated; with the most total wins over the last tens years). That being said, I don't think anyone would argue that the Steelers are not the best franchise of all time.

The Steelers have been a damn good team over the last 10 years as well.

Agreed. I think the team they are putting together now has a chance to win one over the next couple of years.

This is why the ravens have zero credability:

http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Terrell-Suggs-says-hell-have-last-laugh-over-Tom-brady.html

After the ravens lost a game that they had five chances to win (and were shut down every time) they all start talking trash. Suggs being the worst of the lot.

It never fails. Everytime the Ravens lose a big game...every freaking time, they all start melting down in the media. Excuses, trash talk -- etc.

Just to recap, the Pats win and Suggs starts talking shit. Brady responds back by stating the truth; "the ravens talk a lot for a team that has beat us once in nine years"... now Suggs is saying he will have the last laugh, talking about Brady's knee injury, and poking fun at his supermodel gf? Lol! Suggs can dish it but he sure can't take it.

What a piece of shit. Reflective of his teams lack of discipline and humility.

I'm all for talking trash, but Suggs reminds me of my 7 year old nephew when he does not get his way.

Ok dude I get it....we cry when we lose. Last time I checked....losing isn't fun. And last Sunday's loss was hardly a big game. It's the regular season. Both teams have four wins.

Actually...Suggs is a hell of a nice guy and a very cool cat to the fans. Have met him quite a few times dining out in the East Baltimore Harbour. And from an individual perfomance standpoint against the Patriots(last 3 games), Suggs has played pretty damn well. he could very well have the last laugh. But all in all he's just having fun. You can't tell me that his joke about his conversation with Brady about his wife wasn't funny. Suggs likely would rip Brady a new asshole in a physical fight so it humors me when he tries to act tough.

But settle down, dude. In the big scheme of things, who really gives a shit?

A lot of teams would loved to be lumped into this group for the decade. Pretty amazing that only four teams this decade have won the Superbowl.

There are a lot of teams inbetween colts and ravens..

Disregard my last email.

2002-BUCS
2007-Giants
2009-Saints

Did I really say only four teams? My bad....

I'm fine dude, just stating my opinion and responding to the trash talk the ravens camp has been regurgitating since the loss.

To be honest, I'm sick and tired of all this shit-talk coming out of the Ravens camp. There are a bunch of ghastly mother fuckers on that squad.

Suggs dove at Brady's knee last year, and then has the gaul to talk shit in the media when he (and his vaunted defense) couldn't stop the Patriots when it mattered most. He's claiming Brady dove at his knee, ha-ha!

Of course Suggs could kick Brady's ass in a fight. That's the mentality that child has. Suggs probably thinks that since he can win a physical altercation against Brady, that makes him a bigger man. Brady is the type of guy who would say "no problem", take the high road, hop in his free 100,000 Audi, stop by the Bank, cash his checks from year one of his contract (that total everything Suggs has ever made), roll to his pad in NYC and drop the hammer on his supermodel wife who pulls in 30 million a year. Maybe have his three sb trophies, his NFL MVP, and his 2 superbowl MVP trophies spit shined, while Suggs huffs and puffs in the media.

 ;)

You and I have no idea what Suggs thinks. I just think it's funny how Brady tries to be a tough guy and jump in his face like he's going to throw down.

It's also funny how you just deplore Suggs' actions and now think he's this asshole, yet you yourself had a raging hard-on to add him to the Patriots when his contract was due to expire. I can pull that exact post if you'd like.

And by the way, Suggs is the highest paid linebacker in the NFL so he's not exactly pulling in chump change. Pretty pointless to compare salaries between a franchise QB and a DE/LB but so be it. Not many other players come close to the type of $ Brady rakes in.

Ravens dodge a bullet today against the Bills. Our pass rush was non-existent and the Bills made the Ravens pay through the air. Very lucky to get the victory today against a winless team playing with nothing to lose. The bye week couldn't be happening at a better time.

3 TD passes for Flacco. That's 5 TD passes and 0 int's in his last two games.

Ed Reed is back in a big way. One forced fumble and two int's today in his first game back.

Keep an eye out for the Bills' Fitzpatrick and Steve Johnson for the remainder of the season. Not a bad duo.

Steelers get a gift-wrapped win today against Miami. Of course, the Dolphins recovered the ball in the endzone. But the sideline judge was too busy cock-gazing Big Ben into the endzone with arms raised after the ball comes loose.

My team doesn't have much room to talk, either. But the Dolphins got hosed.

maybe the dolphins should've scored touchdowns instead of settling for 4 field goals, or maybe not give up a 50 yard kick return before the fumble, or a 50 yard touchdown pass to mike wallace (who is becoming the best deep threat in the nfl)

nah why do that when you can point fingers and blame others for your own failures ::) ::)

i'm talking about people making excuses for their favorite team losing, instead of admitting your team didn't play good enough to win they blame the refs

what is there not to understand?

a bigger screw job would've been the dolphins getting the ball after the refs signaled touchdown, you can't expect the steelers to run for a loose ball after seeing a ref raise his arms
