so you don't believe it? clearly BF does so I'll keep it listed in that post.  Keep going guys, I want to get a clear picture of just how pathetic I and other CTrs are.  You brought the article, keep going, this is getting good.

What are you trying to accomplish with this? You think people are supposed to respect you losers? You guys see conspiracies in everything. It's laughably pathetic. And I'll agree 100% with the notion that most CTers are uneducated, impoverished losers.

Proof below. A beacon of educated success? I doubt it.

I father is highly educated, Masters, top 2% of earners etc.. and he believes in the JFK conspiracy.

The key word in the article is "LESS LIKELY"

I may not agree with you Hugo, and or may not believe the same things you do.  But you are not an uneducated person.  Neither is 240.

You not really a CT'er in my book anyway.  You don't usually make the accusation and then work back words to prove it.  You usually discuss the questions.

So he loses the green goatee and looks more distinguished when he becomes a skeptic of chemtrails. Guess CTer and stupidity DO go hand in hand. Don't worry Hugo, I'd consider you one of Getdumb's finest regardless of whether or not you believe in CTs. You go above and beyond in that regard.

To be clear, you guys are grouping the tinfoil hat-wearing CTers who believe aliens caused Katrina.... with those who believe any govt leader lied about anything in history.

A "CT" is what... a belief in something other than the official govt story on an event?

So, if you believe that any white house ever lied about ANYTHING, then yes, you are a conspiracy theorist.

That's what makes you guys look like douches.  When you group them all together.  The loons and those who believe soemtimes people will lie for power or money.

If you think Clinton lied about this or that - and your belief goes against what was the official govt line at the time - then you're a CTer.  Suck on that.

I "believe" there is intelligent life int he galaxy with the ability to travel and visit our planet.

our govt denies it.  You are a conspiracy theorist.

And that puts you on the same level as 911 'troofers', birthers, and people who believe all other nonsense.

240, I am a big fan of John Pilger. He mapped out how tony Blair was in bed with Rupert Murdoch (Fox).

I had no trouble believing it, because every claim had sources and the book didn't carry some wild theory either.
It was all just pretty much hard facts.
Very good read despite the lack of claims that Murdoch is a member of some secret society or similar nonsense.

I consider both you and Hugo to be bright and educated blokes. Also think this topic start is an interesting one.

So can you split up the conspiracy theorists?

Or are they all just lumped into one crazy loon bunch?

We are in agreement there is probably "something" out there - the list of astronauts and presidents and world leaders that agree is pretty telling, as is the number of sightings and those nasa videos.

I think Getbig's new CT board should address this.

Any accusation on the main politics board - where the posted says Obama or any leader is lying - should immediately be moved to the Conspiracy theory board.

If you defy the official govt storyline on anything, from 911 to Obama's stance on anything, then you are subscribing to alternative beliefs which lie outside the official govt narrative.

This is why a CT board is risky.  Who gets to decide what is a CT?

mb, you don't post enough of your opinion to be labeled anything.  You just drop questions and see how other people answer.  mixed in with calling this or that a distraction.  But you rarely make a case for anything.

WHAT?  You basically say we're zealots and nazis and then say, sorry no offense intended?  uh, yea.... sure... ::)
I don't think the typical Truther is interested in a differing opinion. Or that they care much for facts that hurts their theories.
that's what they got in common with extremists.
But you are not a truther IMO.Eg, you don't discard info just because it goes against your beliefs.

what about a nothing gets moved policy.  If you want to post on the CT board, fine, if you don't, fine.  I doubt we will get a CT board but just saying.  That would work and wouldn't piss off anybody.

Ha, yes I agree, cause I like other people to form their own opinions than me telling them what I think. This is why I post the way I do. :D

How is believing there is life on other planets capable of visiting earth make me a conspiracy theorist?  Did i say the government is hiding it from us?

So by your previous assertion the president is on the same level as truthers?  Or were you just trying to put on the defensive by lumping into the LOONEY CT'er category?

And i can split up CT'ers.  Looney, Nuts, Whack Jobs, and plausible.

No, that's stupid.

The board should focus on established CT's.  Reptilian Diana, Moon bots, JFK, Aids, etc...

Based on "lying in politics" would force us to change the name of the politics board to CT!   ;D
