do you need them straight after training ?

or do you have enough stored in your body from prior meals

just asking because I bought a protein powder with only 3 carbs per serve

I like to take some waxy maize about halfway through my workout and then at the end.

you should definitely eat carbs after you train (and before you train and several times thourghout the day) if your trying to put on muscle mass.

if your not trying to put on size, then carbs arent as important. but you should probably still eat some before and afetr you train, and just skip the carbs the rest of the day.

carbs in all meals except last/bedtime meal

thats  a pretty vague question............what s your goals? whats ur diet like now? whats your bf%, what type of training are u doing...........answerin g any of those questions would help in giving u an answer.
