WASHINGTON (AP) - A House Democrat is accusing President Barack Obama of dehumanizing illegal immigrants with his hard-line stance against allowing them to benefit from pending health overhaul legislation.

Congressman Luis Gutierrez, from Obama's home state of Illinois, said Wednesday the approach is "nonsense" and would ultimately cost taxpayers more money when illegal immigrants end up in emergency rooms.

Language on illegal immigrants is still being finalized as the House prepares to vote as early as Saturday.

Another piece of shit from my state of Illinois! This guy is a real piece of work and a total sell-out and load of dog shit. Listening to him speak about shit like this for years makes me wonder what nation he is actually serving?

He can cry all he wants, it's not going to get put in the bill.  Illegals will stay outside of the coverage.

Maybe, but I think eventually it will.  Either through some loophole in the way the bill is written or a later amendment to the act.  I think that's why they won't specifically state in the bill that non-citizens are not covered.  The last wording I saw on it was so convoluted you can't make heads or tails of it.
