I served in the military and spent some time at Fort Hood. It is a shame that this happened but people need to take a seat and not overreact. Americans always seem to overreact to stuff like this because we are so insulted and believed it can't happen to us. That is probably why it was easy to strike at an a military installation, nobody could conceive of something like that happened. Stuff like this happens all over the world every day. When 911 happened it didn't shake me at all. The worse thing we can do is start to get all paranoid and crazy. The news media, looking for ratings encourage that paranoia to keep audiences glued to the television.
