TIGER WOODS MAKES MORE MONEY THAN AROD,JETER,MATSUI AND JOHNNY DAMON. TIGER MAKES A WHOPPING 124 MILLION ANNUALLY LOL. PHIL MICKELSON COMES IN SECOND AT 49 MILLION . THESE GOLFERS OWN THESE BALL PLAYERS WHEN IT COMES TO INCOME AND IM SURE THESE GUYS DONT GO BROKE LIKE HALF THE GUYS IN THE MLB,NFL,AND NBA LOL. CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY? TIGER STRAIGHT OWNS THE YANKEES!

A lot of their money comes from endorsement deals for products. The golf industry is built around selling equipt., so often the endorsement deals are massive.

Very true. Many come from good families that actually teach them values and morals. Maybe that is the reason?

Advertising and sponsorships. It's also a very old game with a lot of history. A sport's pay scale is determined by it's gross profit and popularity with consumers. Out of all the pro sports, golf is the sport that has the most appeal to consumers, because pretty much anyone can play it. Also, Golf is a sport that has a huge portion of high income individuals who play as a hobby. It makes sense that it's pay scale is among the most lucrative in the world of sports.

No they don't......I worked in minor league baseball and saw their paychecks with my own eyes. You have one or two guys per team that make good money, many of the rest make sub $30,000 a year.

Look at the money list of PGA players....there is no comparison.
