he was on it in 2 scenes (what i saw). 1st scene is after jai white won his 1st street fight with 2 kicks? and melvin was holding the camera at the end (could be the one where he fought many guys, not sure) and the other scene is where melvin was dancing in the rich black man's house when white was invited to the party.

                 this is good for slice and sapp seeing neither can really fight, both get owned by guys much smaller than them. michael jai white is a great screen presence.

yep, loved it. it had a great 80s early 90s action vibe. the baddie who he fights at the end, and gets his arse raped in prison, is actually british. brits might recognise him from the classic 'in sickness and in health' and 'the bill' amongst other stuff.

but yeah, jai white is awesome and sadly underrated. i've got black dynamite to watch yet, and i really can't wait.

I wanted to see this bad, but haven't found time.  I love those old movies.  My friend has the original vhs tapes of dolemite and g.i. bro and blacula.
