Had Brock lost his second fight, he may have been fighting in Strikeforce tonight.

i think we need to look at the fact that rogers was handing fedor his ass in a few instances.. i thought rogers had him when that ground and pound was going on and he did handle fedor in the first round.. now, that being said, he did knock in out in the second.. but, should a fighter of rogers talent even have given fedor that much trouble in the first round? when fedor fought "the pit bull" arlovski he was also getting his ass handed to him before the arlovski did a stuipid move and fedor capitalized on it and was able to ko him..

  i am not trying to take away from fedor.. but, his last three fights have looked bad.. he still won.. but i truly dont beleive that fedor wanted a ufc fight.. they werent going to give him a rogers.. and if you are having trouble with rogers, as much as i hate lesner, fedor would not take lesner..

The problem with having a SHW division is that it would already dilute a weak HW division. Fedor is on the small side for HW and would probably end up in there by himself.

agreed but I'm thinking long term...Lets face it...There is no way that Brock Lesner should ever hold a legitimate title in MMA with his limited experience...Not taking anything away from Brock but come on, I think if the super heavy weight div. started at lets say 235 Brock would sit up there all by himself and I would be cool with that...But how would he be if he had to suffer and get himself down to say 235? Would then much smaller "Heavyweights" rip through a novice MMA guy with great wrestling skills? Who really wants to see Tank Abbott with wrestling skills possibly walk through a guy like FEDOR? I know a lot of people would who don't care or understand the sport and that fine but its not whats right for the sport IMOP...Dana White is trying to make that shit happen

I don't see what your seeing...I see Rodgers who jammed FEDOR in the nose and FEDOR didn't even flinch...Sure he split his nose open to the point blood was puring out of it and the announcers jumped on it but it really was nothing...The only time Rodgers came close to anything was with his GNP but again FEDOR wasn't even fazed and in fact almost pulled off some kind of arm bar...There was never a time in that fight that FEDOR was in serious trouble regardless of what OUR untrained eye saw...The only way Rodgers was ever going to beat FEDOR was to knock him out with a standing punch...And if we bring Lesner into the discussion, Lesners punching power isn't anywhere near the planets of Rodgers...Lesner is powerful but his stand up is seriously novice like...Lesner could beat Fedor by dropping him and GNP(which is amazing) and having the ref stop it...If Fedor was ever to step into the UFC ring, you could almost see what would happen if he fought Lesner...It would be a Dana White special of having the ref stop the fight if Lesner could get Fedor on the ground and do what he can only do...If i'm Fedor, there is no fucking way I would ever trust a fight in the States against Lesner...
