JFK and MLK had important speeches.

Bhutto's speech was poetic, passionate, and added just enough logic to prevent discourse. Sadly, he just failed to understand that the Nazis redefined "Humanity" as a measure of political power. Appealing to the UN's sense of decency or pointing out their hypocrisy were wastes of talent. Speaking to their sense of self preservation would have made more sense.

I'd rather see a discussion on great speeches/letters whose warnings were ignored like Eisenhower's "Military Industrial Complex" or when Patton begged us to crush the Russians before it was too late.

While not a speech, per say, this is Peter Schiff, in 2006-2007, warning of an economic meltdown and literally getting laughed at by various morons on CNBC and FOX Business.
