Lee Priest trying to keep the food on the table
« on: November 08, 2009, 08:31:51 PM »
Doing it tough i guess  :-[

If you've ever wondered what it is to be a pro or wanted to know how they live/eat/train... you now have the chance for this to become a reality.
Lee is opening up his home and gym for this experience.

Not only will you be living with Lee for 4days/3nights, you will also train with him while he is getting ready for his comeback. Experience what it is like to get ready for a contest on a pro level.
You will also go on a deep sea diving expedition with Lee and friends. Movies/shopping and whatever Lee decides he wants to do.
This is a once in a life-time experience for the hard-core Lee Priest fan.

All expenses will be paid. Travel expenses within Australia will be paid by Lee. If you are travelling from outside of Australia, you will have to pay for your own travel expenses to Australia.

How to enter:
Contest is $20 per entry. (Australian dollars)
PayPal payments only. thepriest2000@yahoo.com
Make sure it's your own account. We will use your info when the winner is drawn.
If are using someone else's account, please include your own information, this will insure the correct winner is announced at the end of the competition.
Contest will close 9 January 2010.

Fuck all that deep sea diving and crap.  I just wanna load up on gear and chill at Lee's crib, feast on KFC and grow huge.

im not sure how this could work.

the winner MUST be able to get permission to travel to australia for a start- there should be some fine print about that part.

secondly, at $20per entry, how can this be feasible?

4 days/3 nights at Lee's place wont cost much. lets say a grand at the most. Then there's another grand for enjoyment of activities and travel locally diving (need to have a diving license and therefore do the course which from memory is a day or two).

anywhoo, lets say Lee is a fully qualified dive instructor and can take someone down.

so its going to cost Lee about $2k all up.

He'll have to declare what he earns to the government, and thats taxed at 30% as a business, and as much as 42% if it ends up in his hands.

So for mine, I would think that he'd need about $4k to break even.

Now, $4k at $20 per entry is 200 entries.

Seriously, how many entries is this going to attract? I cant think of one person I know that would go, and many are BB fans, but most are just regular people. Out of the few dozen BB fans/trainers i keep in touch with, i cant think of anyone who'd go.

What's more, OS entries have to come up with the $2kUS to get over here and back..and thats one hellish 15 hour non stop flight from LA. more from anywhere else.

Now, if Lee had a regular job he might earn $1000 NET for that same time frame and he'd not have to live with some stranger for the week. So, to come out even when compared to a normal Joe's regular job, he'd have to get 300 entries.

Am I missing something?. is demand that great? BB shows here attract maybe 500 people once per year.

Does it cost extra to see his cock, or is that included in the package?

This was my first thought.  Maybe he'll just keep 'all the cash*' and post up some bs with a gimmick account about how great it was to stay at Lee's, get a friend to stand in for a few pics, etc.

*He'd make more dancing for nickles.  I'll be astounded if he grosses even $400.

yes disco stu has put alot of thought into it...

I say that the end result may just be Mr. Lee Preist(and incredible bodybuilder by the way) hanging himself in the shower...Just my thought...I sure as hell hope he does'nt because I believe he was one of the best at one time and since then his back looks like my little sisters...

well i was just thinking about what motivates him to do it, and it all flowed.

and i still cant see it unless he can get 300+ entrants. Maybe he'll get 3,000. I was hoping someone might be able to help me out.

If he gets 3,000 then cash in is $60k. then it's feasible, although he'd end up with around $20k after fees, tax and costs. Still good going.

and if he gets 1,000 then thats 20k...he ends up with maybe 8k profit in the hand....still maybe ok.

under that i wonder if its worth it.

maybe he should get an education and a job...?

Not sure about the "hurting for cash" part. He has his MD contract. New supplement contract with INFINITELABS. He is also starting his own protien line in Australia. Seems to be doing ok.

Lee, like most people, takes a shit a couple of times a day. Not sure if him using the toilet for that purpose would qualify as an obsession...

I wonder if he gives commentary while he is doing poos. Silence amongst all the farts and poo noises could be quite awkward.
