That's why this wonderful feature known as "multi-player" exists on a lot of today's games.  ::)

You don't need to tell me that - I worked for years in the games industry - but in todays times with all the computer and graphical power and options we have there is another way a free way to tell a story - many games have done so in the past already with an near perfect
sandbox feeling.
Scripting to the size of Modern Warfare is the lazy mans option, but its easier to QA test ;D

when it comes down to games I do ;) but I am hopelessly outdated since I don't have time to play anymore and every game I give a shot is somewhat
an disapointment.
Ah the good old times when I was playing Warcraft 1 on my rusty computer :)
And Dungeon Keeper... god damn what a great game Dungeon Keeper was  :'( :'(

Yes - I can play it and I'm only running one Geforce GTS 8800. However, I am going to upgrade any day now.

Calm down stud - nothing like chilling out killing a few bad guys on screen after a long hard day at work.

What do you do for escapism?

When you grow up and actually think and act like an adult.......webcke pay attention here kid.........and have responsibilities.....you don't have time for "escapism".  I try to live in the real world buddy.  I have a wife, two dogs, own a home, a car etc.  So between all that, going to the gym, reading, taking classes, cooking, and the other shit responsible adults do I don't have time for video games.

LMAO....escapism?  Haha.  Next time you meet a WWII vet why don't you ask him what he used to do for "escapism" when he was younger.  And we wonder why America is on a downhill slip and slide of shit.

Dude - I got all that too - a home to maintain, a wife, a car, a responsible full-time job - all that can come with stresses and you need a bit of escapism to release the pressure of everyday life. Everyone winds down in different ways, that's all. I don't just play video games, I read and draw as well. Life is about balance and maintaining it to stay healthy.

Neither will I in a few years kid.  And I'll be able to say I did everything on my own without mooching off mommy and daddy.
