i dont know what happened, but all the sudden i can't stand bars, or lounges ... i like house music and techno when i go out...  esp ..places in NYC where you can sneak chronic in and blaze your brain out...

Thats the best thing about NYC,you can find any type of bar you like
I live outside the city so there are times my friends and I take a train into Grand Central and just walk around and hit a bunch of bars without any idea of where we are going.

Hung out at The Mercury on 9th ave watching Yankees World Series game...cool place, nice waitresses, enthusiastic crowd, hot chix. Friendly folks in there.

nothing beats an old victorian pub tho...Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese is probably my favourite place first built in the 1600's i think

I love the pub scene.  I've been to London 4 times and always had a great time!

That's my prob now.  I think after I hit 30 I became aware that I was older than most there, and started feeling out of place.  Really though it is fine because from 28-30 I was starting to be bored with it anyway.  Here, it's like there's little clicks in bars/clubs.  Same people there everytime you go.  There became nothing new about the experience so it wasn't something I looked forward to anymore.  Only problem is that here in the midwest there ain't much else to do if you're in your 30's and single.......i mean unless you like shooting animals and fishing.....which i don't.  lol
