Situation Myself and Friends were talking about

Lets say a guy is ohhhh  55 years old and has no interest in putting an effort into life. He has been to  jail before for minor stuff and knows he can do fine in there. So he decides to commit crime to land him in jail for the rest of his life, thus taking care of sleep, food, etc etc.  He decides to go out and kill as many convicted child molesters/child murderers as he can til he gets caught. These are molesters/murderers who have served time but are now out. This is Canada so there is no death penalty.  Is the 55 year old such a bad guy for doing this?
