Billy O'Reilly jealous as hell of Glenn Beck.

  Anyone else pick up on it? I've mentioned it to people, and they counter by pointing out that Beck is a weekly guest on O'Loofah's show. Well, as the saying goes: Keep your friends close..... Beck has had a meteoric rise in popularity since making the switch to Fux News, and rightfully so; he's witty, original and independent, and is pretty much that Neocon pigpen's only saving grace. But his success can't go over well with Billy, because the two things that obviously drive him craziest are competition and criticism. If I were Glenn, I wouldn't turn my back to O'Reilly for too long.

yes he's obviously jealous, but give me a break, Beck is a fucking fraud.  Witty, Original and Independent he is not.  Witty, no, crazy... Original, no, he intentionally latched onto what Ron Paul started, with the crazy.  Independent?  Yea, I'm sure he says so... whatever...

Beck is taKing out commies and marxists daily and the left hates it. 

He is doing the foot work the rest of the lamestream media refuses to do and people are paying attention. 

BTW - he went after Bush as well so dont try that canard.  He said he is working on a few thingsa that make Van Jones, Acorn, Dunn, et al look like nothing.

along with this idea, anyone notice that Billo has become just a bit 'nicer' to his guests these days?  The shouting outbursts, etc appear to be a little more low key.  Possibly a reaction to the outragous rants of Beck?

O'Reilly is old hat.  Beck does actual investigative work.  That is why he has such good ratings.

Thats inane.The guy is funny as hell.The day he put on laderhosen was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen on television.Now,he may be nuts,but he certainly is funny.The guy on tv who has zero wit is Olbermann.He snorts after every sentance as though he just said the funniest thing ever spoken.He wants to be Dennis Miller so bad but hes miles behind.

In fact ,he SUCKS on football night in America.Saying "HELLO" over and over is not funny.He is a dolt.

I dont watch any of these shows.  I listen to Beck on the radio.  The radio is far better than the tv.

O' Reilly is on a different universe than Beck. Outside of Limbaugh nobody is close to O'Reilly on the right in terms of influence and popularity.

I personally don't like Beck, but I do like O'Reilly.

Beck has shown himself to be crazy, unstable, and in many respects an embarrassment. However, he does occasionally break a big story and he is at the very least independent and original. Say what you want, but he gets ratings.

O'Reilly is a lot more balanced, fair and has people of widely varying political views on his show.

its because Beck has guts and goes after people and does actual journalism. 

Many of these people are afraid to do what Beck is doing and they are jealous.

I only do commercial debt collection on construction projects and crap like that.  I am dealing with rough people from Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Jersey all day.
