Not sure that is a fair assessment. I think they have done some pretty hard training in thier day. You can sit around take hormones all day and eat and you will be nothing but fat. Maybe now they have built up a good base of mass they can train with less intensity, but somewhere along the line they trained thier asses off. Hormones and food alone will not grow muscles fact of the matter is you gotta train hard or at least smart. Yes response to drugs important but without progressive resistance the muscles have no reason to grow or stay big.

its exactkly fair assesment,,gh15 said training should always be consistant otherwise no progress,,but it doesnt change the fact that 95% of bodybuilding and powerlifting was is and will always be drugs,,i bought 2 castles from the internet era of hormones,,not easy to make millions unless EVERY ONES BUY AND BUY LARGE!

i dont know what other pros do or not, but for me is that way ,2 preps a year 12 weeks each maybe 15.

If Paco and Mracos have been using that much WITHOUT REST, they couldnt have competed less than 10 years.
They have competed around 15years.

Meso_z --- Bodybuilder who was on gear for months/years will still stay big without any drugs up to 7 months or so. remember some drugs stay in your body for 2-3 weeks after the last injection and after that it takes sometime to shrink down specially if you training hard and eating a lot.

Most people don't become freaky big from gear in matter of few weeks and most people who been on gear for months or years don't become small just few months after getting off it.

When someone says they are clean for a month or so after they been juicing non stop for over a year my response is come back and tell me with a smile that you are clean in 8 months.

after you been on gear for very long time its very slow process to start shrinking back to normal so ya i can believe that he is clean for as long as he says he is.
