Intestinal infection = career ending injury?

Not really doubting Lesnars heart or anything, but since when does having an infection mean your career is possibly over?

Is there something i'm not understanding about having an intestinal infection?  (not sarcasm)

This can very a very serious situation based on what he has. He could have any number of things ranging from C-Diff to Clostridium difficile–Induced Colitis, Ulcerative Colitis or even Crohn's disease. He will not have any energy to walk let alone fight. He might very well need a Colostomy bag? Who knows.

There are many intestinal disorders that can pretty much end his career. Who knows the poor guy could have Whipple's Disease. That one would end his fighting career for good.

Who knows, maybe his mangina just needs a rest.

its probably c-diff which he probably caught in hospital while being treated for mono.  hardly career ending though.  mind you c-diff would be the first thing they test for and they took a while to find this
