I don't know why all the hype about Trey Brewer.Yes Trey is a nice guy, but he just won a local show, the Excalibur. He got a gift at Jr Nationals, last years with 5th place, and got a gift at Nationals last year .Only because he was training with Ropeman.Plus the guy jumps from one guru to the next like a prostitute turns tricks.First he was with Daniel Stuckard, then he worked with Ropeman-Johnny Stewart, now he with Hany. You c cannot go from one guru to the next. You have to work with someone at least 2 contests so they can Learn how your body responds to diffrent diets, and diffrent last minute preparations. Not once in my 24 years of training have I seen a person need the same amount of protein, carbs, fat, or protein as another person.Plus during during the last week, some guys cannot carb load, they have to fat load.Because carbs smooth them out. There body doesn't produce enough amylase to absorb all the carbohydrates.Causing them to hold water.
Trey, needs to take 2 years off, stay with the same person, I think Daniel Stuckard, and just get muscle maturity.A guru will not change your genetics, your structure or give you the muscle maturity you need.
I bet Trey gets paid better in his contract then most Pro bodybuilders and he really hasn't proven himself to me.
I would step on stage against him anyday. He isn't that impressive. He has big wheel, or he had big wheels but thats it.
I saw him at the Mr O expo, and I am sorry, but I'm not impressed
If you look at amateur bodybuilders like Flex Wheeler or Kevin Leverone, Mike Matrazzo,Paul Demayo, Phil Hernan, and Tom Prince, before they turned pro, had that WOW factor.Trey doesn't have it ....I am sorry.
He looks like a really really good local competitor, but not a top level national competitor, IMO.....Maybe I am wrong.
Hopefully he will bring it this weekend, but I doubt it
