D'oh: Palin Confuses Iraq And Iran In Hannity Interview

She is trying really hard to 'remember' her lines, but if you don't have a solid base of knowledge then it is easy to make stupid mistakes. It's going to be fun watching her when she starts talking more and more about policy instead of the Oprah type of fluff Damn that gotcha media
They keep stumping her whats sad is it happened twice and she also probably had the questions weeks in advance

I like her in some ways, I think she has some good ideas. But when it comes down to it she is a caricature and she is seems to be venturing out of her base of knowledge which then discredits the actual ideas and stances that she has...few as they may be.

i dont see it as a huge deal.

I think if she runs in 2012 *unlikely* she'll face interviews and questions WAY harsher than Hannity softballs.

At that point, these cookie cutter answers that worked for a total of 2 horus of interviews in 2008 won't fly.  Remember she skipped all those primaries - where the weak candidates get weeded out - and she came in and was protected.

could be a simple slip up though i wouldnt put it past her to do that. anyway, she sounds like a dumb fuck still so ntohign has changed.

Easy mistake to make. Too bad she didn't catch herself as most people do when they make it.
Most people would just brush over it if she didn't have such a history of saying incoherent inaccurate gibberish. Hannity's refusal to clarify for her, especially since she did it more than once, stands out NOT as simply being polite, but as Purge described. That too based on his history. All you can do is laugh, and her 15 mins will end as soon as she stops being funny and simply pathetic... which by my watch, oughtta be coming up any second now.

Obama spoke to reporters for 16 hours a day for 22 straight months, and you have ten gaffes.

This woman has been on TV/radio 3 hours a day for a week... already we have "backassward" and "iran/iraq confusion".

give her 12 months on the primary trail and it'll be super-entertaining.  I think people are forgetting how long it took O to accrue that many errors.

Or, do you think that after 22 months of speaking nonstop nearly every day, he meant to say 47 but said 57 instead as he did the math in his head?

See, I think (obviously) he meant 47.  Just as Palin meant iraN, not iraQ.  She's not national level caliber candidate - but she shuldn't get heat for this one.
