QFT, almost every place I've every been says parties of 5-6 or bigger there is mandatory gratuity of 15-25%.

Tipping is a joke. If i ever visit USA i am not tipping. Increase the prices 10 percent or some shit and divide the money made amongst the workers

So they can give me shitty service, because they know that they are getting a 18% gratuity.make me wait an hour, fuck up my order, don't fill up my drinks, etc. Because they know that they are going to get money at the end of the day. I wish the complaints for that pub would rain in, and people would avoid it.

I know its a little different but if someone is a regular customer in my shop then I give them a discount so if I am a regular customer in a restaurant why am I expected to tip a lot?

yeah in germany it's how it works
for example you go to a bar,you have to pay let's say 9€,you have a 10€ note,you say stimmt so

Exactly. Thats how we always did it back in the day. It worked great at beer fests, because you didn't give a shit and it was a hassle to try to get coin change with all the people......man I miss beer fests !!!!!

I was in Southern Bavaria, Augsburg.....I didn't think the weather was that bad there....of course I don't mind real winters. And the spring and summer were PERFECT!
