F u...I was gonna post this!!! ;D But I like it. The rear is aggresive yet elegant. The front is elegant. The interior...is like whoa! I think the F10 M5 will be off the meter, especially in terms of design, if they go off this as a base.

:D

I like this one right off the bat. I hated the E60 when it first came out, then it grew on me and I love it now. I like how BMW has gone back to a simple classy design for the new 5er.

the M5 is going to be sick! ;D

its funny how mercedes and bmw have traded spots. MB is more aggressive and bmw is getting conservative.

Yeah, I agree. BMW is going back to more conservative design because of the polarizing designs of Bangle (Hooydonk was the main designer, but Bangle was head of design). Mercedes needed to get rid of that stuffy image, and the new C-class shows it. The new E class and E class coupe show it as well.

Only Caddy, Corvette Z06 or ZR1 or Viper are worth the mention. Ford has stumbled so much with Lincoln and the T-bird.
Detriot pretty much offers nothing.

So, put out product. If I worked for one of the big three and I had a idea to make better cars, I would tell management. You think only American car companies are being hit?  Toyota fired a whole lot of people and uper mangement because they weren't selling cars, even though, its a Recession.
Americans  accept the status quo with their cars. Granted th reliability  has shot way up, but they offer nothing to whet my palate, or other consumers. All except for Caddy show the fighting spirit. As I said, give examples of what I should buy.

Looks great, but I hate how huge the kidney grills have gotten. The 7 looks ridiculous in person IMO.

I'll enjoy the E92 M3 for a couple more years and see what's up. I heard next M3 will be forced induction, I love the idea, but will miss shifting at 8k RPM on a high revving V-8. That is soo sweet ;) Could use a little more torque, but if anyone that has driven the M5 and the M3 would understand what I'm saying ;)

Front end looks good. Will have to wait till i see it in the metal.

It's funny, i didn't like the look of the new z4, but now i have seen a few with my own eyes, i really like it. This might be the same.

No doubt about it...

Yeah, I drove the M5, not the stick version, and yeah, it's down on torque.

I swear they need to use that V10 in something else sometype of sports/GT M series. I remember hearing that they would come out with a Mercedes  SL competitor. That is where they might put in the V12 and the M sport V10.

A piece of crap...I've never been into cars cause I don't like car payments and I'm not going to put myself at the mercy of the bank or car dealership for the next X years for something that depreciates the moment I drive it off the lot. And I don't believe in leasing.

I can appreciate a nice car I just wouldn't buy one myself.

Fair enough. I guess that kind of attitude will end up saving you quite a lot of money in the long run. Doesn't mean you have to drive a piece of shit, just buy a Toyota Camry and keep it for 20 years or something.  ;D

Unfortunately i love cars, and i can already tell that i will always spend whatever i can justify on one.
No doubt about it...

Sounds like my dad. Except he is very ahem, frugal. He hates giving other people his money. The car has totalled before he gets rid of it. And he can fix a car. I had a 1987 Ford Taurus that I nicknamed "Birth Control", the car had to be towed back home and was totalled, but my dad brought it back to life. We go to car shows, expecially old car shows, and he loves em. but he doesn't want to put any money into them, nor pay someone to do it, even though, he knows what to do.

It's amazing how the 5 series has evolved, while still remaining the same.
