Groink, nix the Mexcio thing. What the previous posters said is spot on. That country is corrupt and runs on bribes. Pharmacist will turn you in. Getting through the borders is risky. And if you look like a bodybuilder they'll target you. And driving back and forth is insane unless you have nothing else going in your life and all the free time in the world. But still you have to worry about fakes in Mexico I have friend that lives in San Diego and competes in BB. He's only 40 minutes away from the border and has been doing the Mexico thing since the mid 1990s. He doesn't anymore. Now he just orders domestic and internationally (taking the usual precautions) on the net. Of course there are local dealers he can get from but face to face transaction are still too risky for him. Right now LE has a real hard on for PED.
As far as whether you should or not: it's your life, you only live once, get the most out of it however you define it. You don't want to have regrets. My advice, looking at you, go for it. See what you can do. You don't have to compete. Be the best you can be for it's own sake. That's living. Just remember, no matter what you do or not do we're all going to shrink, shrivel, die and turn into dust. Nothing lasts forever so make the most of the here and now. Life is not just trying to exists as long as you can. If someone told me that I could be the greatest MMA champ that ever lived but I would die at 68 rather than 78 then sign me up. But that's just me. I don't expect anybody else to do the same and I wouldn't criticize them for their decision as I hope they wouldn't criticize mine (but they will).
