nice choice
I camped with my wife not far from that space - no tent just a tarp great 3 days.
Last hiking trip we walked from that spot all the way back to Dublin in two days - possible the best time I had with my wife so far.
Shes a tough cookie too

I had to hump most of the stuff but damn there are some parts of the Wicklow way that are tough as fuck.
She also adapted great outside considering that it was her first time sleeping outside without a tent.
I don't know but I'm sure there are some people here who have don similar trips and its hard to describe but there is something unbelievable magical to wake up in the forest in the early morning.
I think thats what hunting is all about - for a lot its just trophy hunting but I bet you for a few its all about the sense you get back.
And they come back fast - I did a hiking trip in Canada for 1 week by myself - no tent because they are too heavy it was summer and all you need is a tarp, and its magical how fast your pervisiol vision and your sixths sense is coming back.
For instance on my third day I had this real uneasy feeling - I was on a clearing and I knew there was a bear on the other side - I just felt it somehow, like somebody is walking over your grave and you're hairs on your neck are standing up.
So I stopped and watched and sure enough 15 min later or so a big brown bear comes out sees me and makes a big circle around me
