i haven't seen this film for well over 20 years. so i was surprised that i still enjoyed it. weissmuller was awesome, o'sullivan was hot, you just know that he gave her some wild, fucking sex in his treetop den lol. i'll probably never watch it again, but yeah, this film good fun

Naw. It's kinda silly, and Weismuller's acting is pretty stilted. Watch it for the novelty, the historiocity etc. but it's no masterpiece, by any stretch. Kinda schmaltzy. If you like early Hollywood jungle pics, 'Trader Horn' is the one for you.

I used to watch the old Tarzan shows with weismuller and the updated color ones with the Tarzan who had a lion with him, he also flew in jet airlines, not sure what class. Anybody know the name of that actor and that Tarzan show?

Also, I saw one Weismuller Tarzan episode where the Africans had taken two young saplings and pulled them back in a X shape. They then put a person on the X, then they cut the rope holding the saplings...instant draw and qaurter of a person..."Fatality!"
