Yeah sure its a "public option" that is a not for profit government run health care system that the tax payer gets to pick up the tab for. Oh really its not mandatory? But if you don't get some form of insurnace you get fined and possibly jailed.

War-horse, a public option is specifically government run healthcare.  It absolutely leaves the door open for expanded (and possibly universal) healthcare directed by the government.  Have you ever seen a gov program that hasn't expanded?  Have any of the major entitlement programs been properly budgeted for?

We need healthcare without this public/gov ran option.  They are packaging this as a small program and an option.  Meanwhile, many know their ultimate goal is universal gov ran healthcare.
Fix the current system.

 For example, if a medical procedure was called " soothing relaxation therapy", but the treatment involved being painfully electrocuted over and over again while having your fingernails torn out, would you still consider the electrocution " soothing relaxation therapy"?

No its not.  The public option is DOA as per 4 senators, Lieberman, Snowe, Nelson, and one or two others. 

Right now, obamaCare is the senate bill without the PO.
