Grant as Moderator

I never look at these GetBig pages too much except for various postings initiated by various members, but this morning I did notice that Grant is now a Moderator.

And that's GREAT as far as I'm concerned because Grant has proven to me that he is a fair individual to one and all with a good amount of knowledge regarding bodybuilding competition and the bodybuilding world, etc., etc.

BUT .... I have no idea what a GetBig MODERATOR does.

Grant, if you are reading this can you tell me/us what the duties of a Moderator are and how a GetBigger gets to be one and if it carries any benefits?

And ..... As you probably know, I first met you and your beautiful wife(?) when you were a BB competitor. Do you ever think about competing again?

Thanks for your compliments.   I think it's an honor to be moderator at Getbig since it probably gets more traffic than most other sites like MD or MM.  So thanks to to Ron Avidan for trusting me with this.

Stunt, I feel I do have a good knowledge on the bodybuilding world and certainly have some interesting stories tucked away.   I competed at National level and know many people on a business level in this industry.  I just like to come here and have fun.  I don't like getting into angry debates and so I'll need to back off on that.... especially politics.  

Moderators here are essentially asked to be lenient (within certain boundries) and allow free speech..... one of the basic principles this great country was built on. That's what makes Getbig special......

Crissy speaks badly of the porn biz... and I understand her views on this....since that business does take advantage of the the women.  BUT ...it's a free choice.... no-one forces the women to do it?  Crissy made boatloads of money$ from it too..... so it is what it is....?  

Crissy speaks badly of her upbringing ....but I have dated girls with much more damaging pasts.  Crissy just needs to stop playing the "victim".  I hate when women do this.....

Grant.  Explain how a sex scene gets taped.  Is it a one shot deal or do you have to do multiple takes that get spliced.  So is it getting blowed, then licking snatch, fucking, then blowing your load or is it an hour after hour of takes?

If I was a Moderator, which I ain't, I'd cut a lot of these GetBiggers off; but as we all know - then GetBig would not be as popular as GetBig appears to be.

My brother is a 'shrink' and his partners in the shrink business play Poker a few times each month, and I'm always telling them about some of the GetBig characters on here which always gets a big laugh from them, but one doc in particular thinks that this site and what we have to say as a group and as individuals would be an interesting case study for medical students.

All of them (the docs) without fail do say that what we as individuals have to say on here, reveals much more about us than the subject matter that we write about. What an individual has to say and how they say it, discloses more about that person than that person realizes.

And each of them (the docs) say that it would be interesting to have an hour conversation (pro-bono) with various GetBiggers (whom I'll not mention here because most of you can figure it out) to see what motivates such 'behavior'.

And each of them says that it would be inappropriate to cut anyone off this Getbig Board regardless of what they have to say, so I'd be one hell of a bad GB moderator.

I guess Ron would be the only individual GetBigger who knows if such a psychiatric study has ever been conducted or even contemplated by any medical professional or medical student.

I don't think that's an actual medical term but to be honest it's pretty close to what I have in mind pertaining to a few of us on here. I guess I'm just too foo-king polite to describe them in those derogatory terms.

Plus I'm not qualified to give an accurate description even if the above was a proper medical term.

A couple of years back we were playing Poker with a bunch of new poker players I had never met before. I think I used the term "Crazy fucktards" in an attempt to be humorous while sitting in the game with the highly schooled and experienced doctors only to soon discover that I was sitting in a game with only one doctor and five of his patients. (Patients is not the correct medical term here but I'm not associated with the med field except when they want to take my money a few times each month playing five card stud or spit.....

That didn't go over too very well.

Hey stunt. Do you know that psychiatrists have higher than normal rates of mental disorders? Why that is so has been attributed to the affective nature of the discipline, or that such a discipline 'self-selects' or attracts such people. So, maybe these docs you talk about are closer in nature to Getbiggers than the general population.
