I'm good with english, always have been. I watch american movies only in the original language and I'm active on english boards (for as long as the internet exists). I also primarily read and write in English due to my job.

You can easily watch popular US shows from everywhere nowadays. I e.g. watch Dexter, Weeds, Californication, Man v. Food etc. And I like a few US radio shows like Howard Stern and Bob & Tom.

If you would be a skilled native speaker, you could easily spot all the little stylistic mistakes I make. Deicide e.g. asked me right away if I was German when I first came onto this board. Just from reading a few of my english posts, he knew.

I think Ventura did the best thing he could, if he would have slapped/snapped that twig, there would have been some serious consequences.

I am sure many of us would have problems keeping our cool like Jesse did after hearing that fellow yap like that. (and slinging random insults)

I listened to their show a few times several years ago and those guys aren't smart and they're not funny. 

They're in the same league as Mancow...another radio show that was able to have a long run without being at all entertaining.  Mancow actually replaced Howard Stern back when I lived in the Hampton Roads area.  That was weird.
