I'm not really up to date with youth culture, so I thought I would ask some of the the Getbig members that are "down with the kids" (no, I don't mean in moosejay/pumpster kind of way)... What does the two fingers pointed horizontally hand sign mean?

Is it a hand sign for a slightly fruity street gang? I've noticed that it's done by Guido/metro types and US college chicks mostly, and is often accompanied by a slightly vacant pouty face.

That would be refered to as "chunking up the duece". You would usually do it when leaving a spot...I guess. If you're white you take pictures of yourself doing it with that stupid look on your face on myspace. When something like that or certain terms crossover to popular culture that usually means it's played out and only said by lames...that reminds me please...enough with the no homo cam'ron did it to death already. I've been hearing people say "peace out" which I thought died back in 91 or something.

Uh, no hip hop has been doing this from back in the day. Since Japan is obsessed with american culture they started doing it, but the Japanese girls do it in a cutesy way.


And cam'ron is a American rapper. Jadakiss used No Homo to death a few yrs ago, it is still used occasionally by some urban New yorkers, if they say something that might miscontrued as gay, ex: "those pants are a little to tight on you, no homo", one doesn't want to give impression you were looking at another guys ass.
