Hi, I'm the guy in the videos that were posted above of squatting 315x42 and 405x26. Thanks for checking out my videos.
Actually its the same guy in all three videos. Im more impressed with people like this guy whos just average looking, dont think much of them when they come in the gym and then see them do shit like that.
I was thinking that too tbombz. Kind of weird.
Case in point the guy in the video nearest above. Droopy mantits, gut, legs don't look particularly built, yet he can perform an impressive squatting feat.
I admit I was too fat in those videos. If you look at one of my more recent videos, you can see that I actually have quite a bit of muscular development. Not as much as a high level bodybuilder, but respectable for a powerlifter:
One thing did seem odd though. The plates are rumbling sweet music like only metal plates can do. But to me those look like those rubber coated plates in the strange shape like I have at my gym. They make no noise whatsoever.
The plates may look rubber coated, but they weren't. There are several high level powerlifters who I train with who can attest to the fact that my lifts are real. If you look in this video, I'm using calibrated Eleiko plates, that are accurrate down to 0.1%:
I hope to be able to beat Tom Platz's 500x23 within the next year.
