Male grooming tips (Homo)
« on: December 04, 2009, 06:44:33 PM »
Post yours here.  It might even help you win a bodybuilding competition, all else being equal.

Mine:

Never use a comb or brush, intead use your fingers.  Prevents unnatural looking lines.

Keep your nails trimmed.  No need for gay manicures or polish, but keep them clean and trimmed.

Smell nice.  Don't be afraid of using cologne.  Women have a better sense of smell than us and they appreciate it.

Keep your shoes clean.  That is another thing that women always look for.

Some women like the 5 o clock shadow, but keep it trimmed and groomed.  If going for clean shaven look use a double razor make sure the razor doesn't clog up.  Prior to shaving wash face with hot water to open up pores and use a shaving cream with aloe.

Lol @ grooming tips for the young & non bald.

How my old standby: talcum powder & hard setting wax on a qtip for nose hair.  Or: Don't forget to inspect your body carefully for 2" rogue hairs in otherwise hairless areas.  Yet to hear hair removal tips for dick & balls that don't involve searing pain or 2 weeks of itch and shaving rash.  Nair/veet maybe?  I just trim but want a good tip for upper legs.

Seriously, use aluminum free deoderant.  Aluminum will fuck you up.

And it's seriously blue collar.  Over 18 yo and not nervous about prom night, only mechanics & maintenance men wear cologne.

Wax or shave if you have a unibrow.

No nose hair sticking out.

Always be mindful of your breath.

More than two or three light sprays of cologne is too much and it's better to be wearing no cologne than too much.

Trim excessive body hair.  No girl like huge underarm bush, back hair sweaters, or a "mane" of pubic hair.

Clean and trim nails (including toenails) are a must.  Many woman say it's one of the first things they notice and almost all women say it's a huge turn off if dirty.

Good tips.  I agree too much cologne is worse than none, but I think the right amount is best.

I am a large male and I am sure a little homosexual twink like you would like to "fuck me". Unfortunately I am not into such sick practices :-X

Now you can return to your topic and discuss things that matters to you, such as hair spray, nail polish, men, mascara, favorite lube, fashion etc

Most likely about2-4 sprays.  It could vary.  Just use your good judgement and avoid taking a "bath" in it.  Have your sister or a female friend you trust tell you how much is enough.  Good luck!

OK, I haven't washed my hair in almost 6 months, rarely wear shoes, and have 1 fingernail that is a centimetre longer than the rest, but I do have some good tips.

A hairdressing kit comes with a lot of useful shit, especially the electric razor and mine came with a mini one for beard trimming, etc.

I use the electric razor on my chest and stomach, I don't bother shaving it all the way anymore, still neater than nothing though.

The electric razor is also good for legs and armpits if you like, gets the hair very short without having to shave it all the way.  If you're prone to getting ingrown hairs FFS don't shave your legs with a normal razor, fucks shit up.

Lavender oil is awesome for everything, put some on a cottonball and apply to a pimple, cut, scar, ingrown hair, etc.  Make sure you buy quality shit.

A quality microdermabrasion cloth is good for improving skin tone, removing dead skin, preventing wrinkles, and lightening scars.

If you have a unibrow use tweezers, but don't go crazy trying to shape your eyebrows too much or some stupid shit.

* For dick and ball shaving - once again the electric razor comes in handy.  Use it the first time to get the hair short, careful on the sack.  Then run a hot bath and soak for about 15 mins which makes the hair softer and less harsh.  While still in the bath, shave.  I just use a disposable double blade razor, but anything works.  Then after you're dry apply some regular moisturiser.  Never had any problems with this method, usually do it once or twice a week.  If you start to get some irritation, use lavender oil.

Have fun.
