I was paying 400 euros (600 cad) a month for a 25 m2 shitty flat (had to get to my job by shitty suburb train, 2 hours of trasnport in the morning and evening) and here im paying the same price 400 euros for a ... 60 m2 with two bedroom, a main room, a american kitchen, a bathroom... am 10 minutes away from ALL services, there are parks and garden everywhere, everything is so wider and better thought it's not even funny to compare. Interesting to see where i come from tho

In france it would have cost me more than 1000 euros a month to afford the same flat i live in right now.

America can be great in that respect but if you're having trouble affording a car/gas expenses you're pretty much fucked.

Well it always depends on where you live in Europe. I think you can have both experiences here and there.
