Just not the Steelers' year. Maybe they should have had the NFL's toughest schedule again in order to bring their A game every week.

Being hunted every week is a whole lot different than being the hunter.

Polamalu makes all the difference in the world. Definitely, the defensive most valuable player in the league. The Steelers are a completely different team on defense when he plays.

mostly the entire secondary, they are all worthless

within 4 plays, ryan mundy takes out william gay (who is maybe the worst corner i've ever seen) with a helmet to helmet hit, another helmet to helmet hit on a raider receiver which turned into about a 30 yard gain, and gets beat for the game winning td

he may get fined for 2 helmet to helmet hits, one on his own teammate

do you realize that your rookie kruger has more int's than all of the steeler cornerbacks combined? i could've caught the int burnett dropped right when gay went out

lawrence timmons misses as many tackles as he makes, woodly is MIA most weeks, harrison is half of what he was last year and that huge extension they gave him is looking more of a mistake each week

bruce gradkowski just bought himself another 5 years in the league with the game he just had, the experience he's gaining by being on teams with lousy and injured qb's is going set him for life, this game will have other teams thinking "potential"

i'm thinking another barry switzer is currently running the team, so much for "unleashing hell"

big ben isn't good enough to outscore teams, any team that scores at least 24 points will beat the steelers 90% of the time, he's either overrated by people or underrated, not much in between

damn i really thought 14 - 2 was a strong possibility before the season

i'm hearing ike taylor may be benched, which is weird for a few reasons

he had two straight bad games but has been decent in others, many other guys have been bad all season

it's strange because in 2006 he was solid, than had a few bad games and was benched

he's the scapegoat in another super bowl hangover season while being paid a lot more than other players

6-6- have to go at least 9-7 or 10-6 to get in,praying that it happens,other than wk ben was out ,he is putting up stellar offensive numbers this yr,but that is not what they need to win,formula is defense and running game and ball and clock control....

No way 9-7 makes it into the playoffs. Even though the AFC is weaker this year.

I'm of the mindset nowadays that since an 11-5 team missed the playoffs last season, then it's even more unlikely that a 9 win team could get into the tournament.

But every season is different, obviously.

I'm starting Hines Ward tonight in fantasy despite the cold, windy weather in Cleveland. The only other option I have is to start Kevin Smith against the Ravens' defense.

Scratch that. Hines gets 4 catches for 21 yards. But he was targeted at least 7 times by Ben so I don't feel too bad. My other choices behind playing Ward were not too appealing.

Hard to believe the Steelers have lost to KC, Oak, and the Browns in three straight games. The Browns had 8 sacks on Big Ben. Ridiculous......
