Wow... if we assign credibility to Bill OReilly when he criticizes Obama - which he does often - then we must assign credibility when he says this, right?!

O’Reilly admits Obama ’stabilized the economy to some extent’

Fox News' Bill O'Reilly had some rare words of praise for President Barack Obama on ABC's Good Morning America Monday.

Asked by co-host Robin Roberts to grade the president's progress on the most important issues, O'Reilly gave Obama a "B" on jobs.

"It's very, very encouraging that this month the unemployment rate actually went down," O'Reilly said. "We had chaos, and Obama stepped in and did a lot of things that people criticized him for. But I think he stabilized the economy to some extent. So I'm giving him a 'B' right now on the jobs front because it's a tremendously difficult situation."

Bill Oreilly is an ass!!!He is the worst host on FOX.I hate him!!!The only thing I like is that he kicks the living shit out of Olbermann every night for years and years.

Hopefully any new plan will have a better ROI than the current stimulus package. Economic analyst Ed Yardeni runs the numbers:

The Obama Administration is touting that their stimulus program has saved or created 640,329 jobs since it was enacted back in February through the end of October. This number is updated and posted on the Administration’s recovery.gov web site. That amounts to $246,436 per job based on the $157.8bn that has been awarded so far! Total compensation earned by the average payroll employee during October, on an annualized basis, was $59,867. If the government had simply used the funds awarded so far to pay for a year’s worth of labor, that would have paid for 2.6mn jobs!

I disagree. While I think O'Reily makes sense on a lot of issues, here's one where I see it different.
I give Obama a C-/D+ on jobs. Primarily because they have created some temporary jobs and government jobs but are restricting long term economic growth. They've done very little to help small business.

i agree with him 90% of the time and he is a great host but he can be dense about a lot of things (steriods, ultimate fighting, ethical issues, etc)

O'Reily is not a republican party liner, he has his own opinions. I respect that. He has given the president credit on some issues, I think he gained some respect for obama during his interview last yr. Don't like how he cuts people off though. Odd that I agree a lot more with O'Reily than Obama but I'd probably get along better in real life with Obama, just want different things for the country.

That's not what I said 240, perhaps you were referring to others that commented (and I consider myself a right of center independent).
I think Bill has a good grasp of things usually, his personality sometimes turns me off though.
I think Bill's grade was too high, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's talking about.
