Why is it that the left has to label anyone who they see as the enemy? I find it strange that the so called tolerant, all inclusive club that is supposed to be liberalism acts in such a fashion. And why is it that a liberal can never be labeled as racist,sexist, <insert bullshit here> ist? Could it be that liberalism is a sham, and the only way they can try to quite opposition is via personal attacks? Why is everything that is quote/written by a left winger always taken out of context, but it it is a right winger it is the gospel truth?

teabagger is a derogatory term as well.  The right used it first - they wanted to 'tea bag' the lib senators and congressmen spending all the $.  Of course, Maddow was very fast to say "well, they want to use the word - let's label them with it!"

That didn't end well, so they quickly stopped using 'tea BAG' and started using 'tea party'.

But it was the right that used that word first.  The 'tea bag campaign', etc came long before the tea PARTY.  Remember when you were encouraged to mail tea bags?  And some guy bought a million tea bags but wasn't allowed to use them, etc?

Liberal is a descriptive term of political philosophy 240.  Liberal and Conservative are defined accepted political terms.  Fox may use liberal as a derrogatory term but I don't work for Fox.

Equating the descriptive term liberal to calling someone racist or sexist doesn't make sense 240.  One is a definition of an acceptible set of political beliefs, the other is a behavior with a defined negative connotation.
