I just think that the SRT was more Badass. as you said, it was heavier. And it was end game for the Sport truck fad, piss poor sales for the Dodge. I think Dodge had something to do with that, as well as the timing. Ford were planning on a another Lightning with some type of Supercharger tech that kept it cool, forgot it's name. But then they shelved it. Just like they shelved their V10, they had a working prototype that they put in a Mustang, then I believe they put it in the Shelby GR1 show car. Ford had a lot shit that they didn't produce because the beancounters said no. Like the Ford GT90. You could tow with the Ford, not the Dodge. Plus now, the Dodge has more cache, because of the Viper engine. I've only seen a few of the SRT's, a whole lot more of the Ford's. Don't get me wrong, I liked it.The SRT Ram is still the fastest truck sold in America
