Good post. I do still believe the contents of some of the e-mails regarding skeptics was wrong and should be addressed. Science moves forward through battle and differences. These should be embraced if they are scientific in nature and have weight to back them up. Unfortunately a lot of skeptics have little evidence other than a few pieces here and there but nothing to explain the whole picture. Kind of like evolution has it's skeptics who point to unexplainables and say that is why it never happened.
What i would like the skeptics on here to ask themselves it this. In a world dominated by oil which creates vast quantities of wealth. Why is it that there isn't more opposition to this? Surely Exxon Mobil, BP, Shell Oil etc could band together for their own climate research station and hire scientists to prove this is a hoax and refute the overwhelming evidence being produced, much in the same way tobacco did with cancer.
Surely these companies have so much to loose and would prefer to keep the status quo? But it's rather telling to me anyway, that they are silent on this. That they would rather change with the times than fight against it. Doesn't this tell you that this is no hoax?
