Is there any policy against dating you co-workers?
One time (at band camp) I knew this bouncer at a bar named Tony. We used to talk about about random stuff as I would be on my break with the band. At some point he brought up the waitress named Karen, and was talking about how wild she was, how she'll say this or that.
I decided that I would tell him something she had said to a friend of mine when they were talking one night. Apparently my friend was flirting with her, and he swore that she was coming onto him, and that they had it set up for a date in a couple of days- but the date never materialized. Once at a point where each other were comfortable in the conversation, Karen offed this little tidbit to Michael (my friend).
"I love anal sex. Simply put, there is no better feeling than riding home on the bus while feeling the &*$ drip out of my butt."
Two years later, Tony and Karen come out and told everyone they had been dating for the last 5yrs. And Tony looked at me and told me that he did remember my story, and who it involved.
Just another reason dating at the workplace, while fun and entertaining, is not the best of ideas. When it goes wrong, boy can it ever go wrong!!!
