You're a fool if you think real Italians are anything like the 'guido's' you see on Jersey shore and growing up Gotti. Thats an American thing, not an Italian thing. Italians are NOTHING like what you see in that disgrace of a show. Cleary you've never been to Italy.
I have never been to Italy, but I understand your point. Just because it's their heritage they act like they've come right off the boat. The other day at work, someone was talking about "Nutella" and how they never had it and thought it was really good on toast. A chick walks by (that's Italian...and she will let you know this) and says "I've been eating that stuff for the past 8 years, where have you been...you Americans I tell ya.".
I thought to myself b(tch you were born in the states...wtf?
