Interesting.

so for those who have served in the military... after your 4 years... is the experience/education you get in the services superior, inferior, or equal to what you would have experienced with 4 years of college + internships and working in your desired field?

Is that possibly why they lag in employment?  Because many are 22, with a skillset not applicable in domestic civilian life and 4 years behind their peers in work experience/education?  Or something else?

I learned a lot (as a person) and wouldn't trade that time for anything.

yeah, I'm sure many people spent their time getting degrees and learning skill sets they couldn't get in college.  but i'm sure many just trudged thru it doing the minimum, and were suddenly 22 with no growth.

conscrition = what is that?

also, if you don't mind sharing, what (in simple terms) is the college deal for 4-year military.  How much of a 4-year degree can you earn?

If u do a 3 year active enlistment u might get all or most of ur college paid for if u worked ur GI bill correctly. Alot of states have all kinds of veterans related deals. I can now transfer my GI bill rights to my son or spouse.

Yep its done in months so if u have a spouse who already has college she can just bang out what she needs to finish or u can tell ur kid that he only has so much free school so summer school etc becomes his "job". Better that then 100k in debt.
