the real travesty is that she gets a platform at all. that she gets treated as though what she knows or thinks about global warming even really matters Her response: "not if it's a 'conventional' debate." Meaning she wants to have a "MAVERICK" debate, where you get to make up your own questions and your own answers, and there are no rules about tropes, canards or winks.  and a talent competition! with fancy pageant walking! :D :D :D OK now simpletons come to her rescue!

Palin refused to follow rules in the 1 debate she participated in.

imagine what will happen if she runs in 2012... every GOP contender debate, she'll just be saying "Now, (host), I'd like to "go rogue" for a minute and talk about something more important than your question..."

And her 20% base will giggle while jerking off and celebrate her marverick-y-ness.  Let them have their fun.  Most of them don't have the joy of an education, an understanding of simple science, or all of their teeth...

Sorry to rain on the little hate-fest but do you idiots realize that the High Priest of the Global Warming Messianic Cult,  Al Gore, himself refuses to debate anyone on this issue?

It is a sham and you are a product of MSM brainwashing and hype.

Give up all your assets, cash, to the Church you belong to, I am sure al Gore will grant you salvation for your environmental sins.

The climate is always changing, before we were herwe, while we are here, and after we will be long gone.

This insane push for people to jump off the cliff because the High Priest of the Cult  said so, no different than the Jim Jones Cult, is no different than any other scam in history.

LMAO.... Palin now rejects conventional debates.  This is gonna be hilarious in 2011 when she derails every debate with run-on sentences about why the rules don't apply to her.

of course she shouldn't do a debate with his friends setting it up.

but i think we all know palin will only be doing 'fre flowing' debates set up by fox news for the next 3 years ;)

And she'll find a way to use a crisis to cancel any NBC debates, you watch ;)

Gore won't debate at all, but he gets a pass.

Palin will debate, just not on their terms, but she's an idiot.

Yeah, makes total sense.

It would make no sense for Gore to debate Palin

Gore would only be legitimizing what is for all intents and purposes a fringe candidate.

Palin would gain in stature just by being on the same stage as Gore

what's your point?

Gore is a 2 time VP, former Senator and Nobel Prize winner

Outside of a fringe group of TeaBaggers Palin is a laughing stock and a walking punchline

Gore's gravitas would only help Palin appear to be a legitimate voice rather than a crackpot that she is

Just goes to show how irrelevent the Nobel Prize has become.

One goes to a guy who uses phony science to get an award.

The other goes there and gives a speech on war and is only there because if his skin color.

Did I mention arafat?

Why not just have a debate and let people decide for themselves?

I don't think anybody who's sold millions of copies of books and is an endless topic for conversation (obviously on this board), is on the "fringe".  She may very well be unelectable, but what's wrong with hearing her out and letting people decide for themselves?

Many of us have felt the same way about Al Gore and not debating anyone regarding his theories.

Look Skip - Palin is quickly gaining popularity.  She has massive star power.  If she tightens up her game, the dems know she will be a force of nature since she connects with normal people.

Al Gore is completely FOS on this issue, just like he was on 99% of everything else.

If Palin gets on a stage with him, she will come away the winner by default.  Remember how the idiot GWB made Gore look like a fool in the debates?

Gore is his own worst enemy.  He is a clown, a fool, convinced of his own genius, and would never agree to allow Palin to make a fool of him.
