I eat 5-6 meals depending, but 2 or 3 of the "meals" are nothing more than a protein source (whey shake or egg whites). The biggest advantage over 3 meals IMO is it controls hunger. Its far easier to stick to a particular diet when eating this way. If you wait too long to eat, you get hungry and pig out on whatever's available. Everyone's different, and if 2 or 3 meals works for you, great, but if someone new to this asked me the best way to go, I'd tell them 5-6 small meals.
