I need your expertice on how to get the most even tan, no white/untanned spots. Using a tanning bed.
I tend to get white spots on my shoulder blades when laying on my back, terrible. Also armpits/inside arm body.

is the only solution to lay upside down?

 Stand up.most machines have  something for you to hold your  arms up.
 And drink lots of FRESH carrot juice.

                          actually i was just kidding, however joe meeko actually advised one of his friends to try something like this because his friend was a ginger, long story short guy ended up in the hospital so don't try this at home. jan tanna's tanning crap should do the trick however.

That would be great, however i have not come across any standing tanning beds around here.

this is what i suggest
either start using a Stand up unit and , while in said unit, tan with your arms up in the air (like you are making a "field goal" sign"
or
when you are in a lay down unit, you should lay down with you arms extended straight upwards and over your head (Note: if you choose this method, you will need to scoot yourself down on the lay down unit to the point where your legs will actually be sticking out of the bed while tanning)

the point of this is to get that part of your shoulder facing sunlamps to get the exposure they need

also, explore in using a higher quality unit that has lamps that face your shoulders

Pressure points ~ the only way to alleviate that is to somehow remove the pressure - flip over, stand up, etc.

how do you prevent your asscrack from being white though?  do you take some sort of ankle-grabbing position?  do your partners consider it to be a turn off?

use a strong stand up unit and be sure to apply whatever lotion you use on that area as well- no need for ankle grabbing

I currently spend half the time upside down with my arms above/around my head with one hand holding the tanning "glasses" and the rest of the time is spent laying on my back with arms at my sides, but out a bit as not to block the sides from the lamps. Without tanning i don't have the same glow (all metro)

I am not using any lotion or tanning oil of any kind, should i? how do they help?

i would at least try using a good accelarator/lotion as it will help give your skin some extra color
also, consider using a standup unit every once in a while to even out those hard to reach spots
