Although, I do think it is possible to "throw" one's chi, you have really, really be a master in meditation and concentration, basically some old fucker who hasn't gotten laid in 60+ yrs and meditates 8-10 hrs a day. Before starting acumulate Ki in Dantien(Right under the belly button), you need sufficient Jin(Vital energy,especialy sexual enegy) to convert into Ki.
