Josh: your best bet, get a cash job doing something like roofing, carpentry, etc. and rebuild your life, cut everyone off and start over. In a year or so you should be back on your feet. You can get a  job for $10 an hour tax free painting or putting up dry-wall.

Oh dude, I still get about 2 emails a week from 'nigerian millaonairase'  telling me I somehow inherited 87 million USD from a surplus account that was recently uncovered! all I have to do is send them a cheque for $10,000 and I'm good to go! :D
