Wow...only just read about this, sad news, pretty girl and only 32. RIP

Brittany Murphy Dies

Brittany MurphyBrittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

Fuck... I liked her too. :(

Seemed like a few years ago she was getting strung out on something...but in the last couple of years it had seemed like she cleaned up her act. Maybe all the past partying took a toll on her and her ticker decided to quit. :'(

That being said, there must be more to this.  For a healthy-looking, affluent and young 32yr old to suddenly die from Cardiac arrest leads me to believe that there was more than meets the eye.

I feel saddened by her death, but I'm thinking that maybe a drug overdose might have lead to this untimely death, that or some serious trauma.

what is this?like the 25th-30th celebrity to die in the last 12-18 months....the drugs in hollywood must be getting stronger...

That's the same thought I'm flirting with.

This is a young woman, who wasn't overweight, probably didn't suffer from congenital heart defects or even something like Diabetes, yet she suddenly dies, hmmm...

I smell drugs, I wonder if they will release the full autopsy report.

I work as a Paramedic here in San Diego.  Every time I have run cardiac arrests on people under 40, drugs were involved.  The times drugs were not involved it was either severe retardation, a known medical condition or trauma.  My money is on drugs+alcohol causing the initial arrest and then the boyfriend making it worse by waiting to call 911.

End of the day, who really cares apart from her family and close friends, I doubt anyone would care here if a member of my family died, and why would you.Put a pretty face on someone and say their famous all of the sudden people who didnt even care their grandparents died are gushing with sympathy.
