Usually, Yer Mom jokes don't really get to me. But the other night I was having dinner at my folks and they also had a neighborhood friend over. He knew my Mom and Dad before I was born, stayed friends with both after they divorced, and has always been around.

Anyway during dinner, he made a crack about my Dad, who passed away 5 yrs ago, then made a somewhat lewd crack about my Mom. It was enough for me. I was calm and asked him to stop talking, but he couldn't help himself and kept rambling. The ONLY reason I didn't mash his face in the cured ham was because my mother was there. I stood up and excused myself and went home. I guess those are the words that would do it, if any.

I guess I should clarify that the guy is an old family friend, absolutely harmless, and can't get out of his own way. Me beating him senseless would be akin to slapping around someone's grandmother.

I excused myself out of respect for my parents choice to have him in their house. I guess in all youse guises worlds, you drive the guy out to the desert and burn him in the trunk of a Jaguar?
