Now that i have had sometime to research on my own, no thanks to a temperamental immature participant with an anger management and ego problem, I agree there is a BIG push for a global government (focused on GW) from very powerful places and people that seem to be using global warming as a vehicle to gain more power by putting agreements in place granting powers.  Many companies, politicians and banks stand to gain the further this grows.  

Would all this lead to a OWG?  Just as anything, the power you give to something the more it wants.  (scorpion and the frog)

How much power does the EU president have?

How much power has been given by Obama?  He didn't "cede sovereignty", what did he do?  

Can any if you list what exactly has been given up (power wise) to date?

What has changed?  (that's why i say, nothing has really happened yet)

I see it like this:  There's a push for global governance to regulate and combat GW that hasn't reached it's stated goals. (copenhagen failures)  Does this certainly lead to a OWG that tells us what do?  As many of you say, that's how it starts.  So if they reach there goals it si something to start worry about and warrant a close watch. I see it as, IF global governance gains power, it can create a vulnerability through a structure that's already in place for a NWO, OWG.  I would hope that long before that the American people would reject it throughly.  But after seeing poltics the last 9 years i am not very confident.

I see it as finding the right balance, and maybe that's what we're on the cusp of now.  Some global governance is necessary.  For example, almost all countries follow the UN standards for transporting and handling hazardous materials.  And, for the most part, a hazmat symbol in this country means the same thing in Germany, or China, or India.  This gives us a basis for consistency and safe practices.

But, we have to draw that line somewhere between good global governance and ceding our sovereignty.  And that line can certainly get fuzzy sometimes.

The UN has folks here...we have an LTC from New Zealand...he does very little. They can't roll out without US or AEGIS guards and have very little effect in an area that on paper should be a UN ballgame. They suck!

As far the rest of this.  It's exactly what i said.  People are pushing for vehicle to combat GW globally.  (Separate from that) There has also been people through out modern times who have been pushing OWG.  

The CT is this:  They are all dong it (GW) to for the purpose of OWG and the dismantling of every country's sovereignty

I agree with skip, right now countries are trying to find a middle ground between keeping the countries independent yet allowing global standards and a body to look over those.

In all likelihood it will be useless much like the UN b/c it will inevitably take physical action off the table much like the UN has.

GW is the vehicle and vessle that is most palatable for people to buy into this crap. 

A "GLOBAL CRISIS" truly is in dire need of  "UNIFIED GLOBAL EFFORT" no GW? 

To me, this climate nonsense is a truly a masterful plan since they are getting people to actually believe that what has been occuring for billions and billions of years actually only is changing now because of their very existence.

Who says I'm not concerned about these issues?  Is it because i don't buy into the speculation the same way you do?  Earlier this month you pushed the idea that we were going to lose our sovereignty.  It didn't come close to happening, not that it could have in the first place.  From your accounts, because China refuses to play ball, it looks like Cope-a-dope was a failure.  There will always be people trying to gain power by what ever avenue they can and there will always be people who will sincerely push something they believe in (GW) even if it may not be 100% for sure.  So what?  Do you really think, the American people will stand for being taxed by a world government?  I think there will be rioting and reelections.  I see the potential of what you warn but not the reality right now r even in the near future.  If they were fully successful at Cope-a-dope, then the time to watch out is then, because a structure is in place.  There's not much now.
