Thats thier "defense mechanism" talking. Especially when they see a well built guy in person. An overwhelming feeling of insecurity and intimidation comes over them, even with guys too. You ever been out somewhere and some dude sees you and notice your well built and starts rubbing thier forearm/bicep pretending they have an itch but what thier really doing is feeling how muscular thier arm is.

Let me school you on how contests are judged , ALL rounds are physique rounds which means all of the criteria is assessed as a whole in any particular pose , which means balance & proportion are assessed who has the better balance & proportion? Paul does he has a much better natural structure wider clavicles , smaller joints , narrow waist & hips , better proportion between muscles , better upper & lower body balance , he doesn't have Nasser's short legs or long torso and highish lats , Paul wins this part of the pose

Now mind you it's not just parts it's the whole that wins , Muscular Bulk who wins? well Nasser is huge but so is Paul in fact Paul physically looks wider & bigger but it doesn't matter even if Nasser carried more Bulk because Shawn beat him despite being much lighter , but Nasser isn't outsizing Paul advantage Dillett

Density & dryness , Paul like Nasser was always better conditioned from the front compared to the back , I honestly don't see an advantage for either in this department so I'll say it's a push

Posing & presentation , neither were great posers ( ironically ) but as far as posing in this particular pose Paul wins and why? That's all you comment on?  Yes Nasser's torso is long and Pauls isn't , Nasser has a torso like Levrone & Shawn Ray and Lee Preist , etc long with short legs not ideal balance & proportion but can be overcome it's all dependent on who you're competing with

The problem with Paul wasn't about hitting te pose right , it was that  he couldn't hold a pose for more than 0.0000005 sec.
