You mean like blowing up a section on a bridge?  Derailing a high speed train will likely cause plenty of deaths.

It would be a great target fo terrorists if there were thousands of miles of track in remote areas where 200 mph trains travel.

But i do agree with you.  As it stands, in America with its slow trains, train travel is the safest.

It still wouldn't be feasible.  Too many tracks would be needed for too many trains. Air travel works better.
