I'm English - I've lived in other countries for the past 15 years.

All of these people saying 'it's just a flag' are the same ones that will be saying 'it's just a stoning' when Sharia law creeps up on them.

I'd not expect someone to do this in England and I would not do it in any of the countries I have lived in. There's nothing at all wrong with respecting your flag and expecting guests in your country to do the same.
