Needless to say cardio fucking sucks - sitting on a bike for 30 - 45 min sucks, and no it isn't a problem but every time I get on the bike I think, there has to be some better and more fun way to do your cardio.
Since I hurt my back 2 weeks ago I had some time to think and I what I believe is that after 10 years of going to the gym lifting weights with some good results - I need a radical new approach.
Here are the resons:
A) Just going to the gym is getting fucking boring and after 10 years I think I can do better
B) With my baby on the way I will have to adjust, I cannot just stop doing sports due to a medical condition and will have to do some form of sport all my life - but I am a realist and see that I will have to adjust - I don't want to be an egostic father.
C) I want a fun way of cardio
So since I get more and more interested in Powerlifting (saw a minor Powerlifting competition in Lativa a while back and saw what the majority were lifting and I was seriously animated to join - it looked like a lot of fun) I also want to change my Cardio.
I don't have farmerwalks (even if I consider going to a welder place I've seen and let them make me a pair) I don't have tractorwheels chains or any of that thing.
However what I have - is a car.
Here is what I think would be good - and please correct me if I am wrong.
Saturday and Sunday I will take the car to a secluded spot and push it - simple as that - I don't know how long or how much breaks I need or should have but I think pushing a car up a hill sounds like a lot more fun then to sit on the bike for any length of time.
The question is of course - I have a pregnant wife and I don't think she be to pleased having to steer the car - and since I will be doing this by myself - how can I ensure the car is staying on track?
I could by a pulling harnest?
